FAME GOES WITH INTEGRITY

The greatest honour as a superstar or celebrity is to maintain good morals and live a life worth emulating. It is a sad thing to see that people have allowed themselves to be blinded by their achievements and popularity. Our present world and generation are been misled to believe that with power, fame and wealth you have the world under your feet. Yes! True word but I want to believe that after reading this article, you will have a different view about life and fame.
The simple meaning of fame is popularity. That is the ability to gain recognition. Recognition is what everyone desire. But as good and unique as people desire recognition, if it is not well managed, it will drag one to a miserable end. Sometimes we envy the famous and wishes to be like them, but do you know that 99% famous people inwardly are miserable? In their secret place, they pray to have a quite life in the next generation.
The problem is not FAME. The problem is how we manage fame. There is no world as having recognition and having the grace to use it humanly. My own meaning of humanly in this article is virtuously. It is just like the case of a man who has power and refused to hurt the people who ignorantly hurt him. What I’m implying is; as much as we stand tall in the society and the world, we must learn to have the belief that we stand for the people and not for ourselves. Learn to see fame as an opportunity to deprive your pleasures for humanity.
Fame must work hand with integrity. Drop the sad belief that they don’t work together. The people’s opinion about us matters a lot. Like the saying goes: We can’t please people, yes! But we can please our conscience. We are born knowing what is right and wrong? We must learn to treat people the same way we expect to be treated.
The brightest star is living a life of integrity. As much as we desire fame, bear in mind that there can be no friendship without confidence and no confidence without integrity. "Integrity is the recognition of the fact that you cannot fake your consciousness. Remember that your mind and body are permanently integrated. If your actions contradict your convictions you are on a path to self-disintegration, i.e. self-destruction.
It is a double honour to have both FAME and INTEGRITY. When in the position of power, we should remember our conscience and learn to take people as ourselves. Remember, there is no world as beautiful as having the opportunity, resources, skill to be for the people. If you doubt it; why not give it a try. A lot of people wish to be like you, so learn to be for them.
